What is Tencel Modal fabric?

Tencel Modal is a durable, high-quality fabric made using the Lyocell process, which transforms beechwood pulp into an exceptional textile. It is distinguished by its silky texture, remarkable durability, and high moisture-wicking capacity while allowing the skin to breathe. Prized for its luxurious feel, it also impresses with its natural sheen.

Blended with viscose (65% Tencel Modal / 35% Viscose), this fabric combines the softness and elasticity of Tencel Modal with the lightness and fluidity of viscose. The result is a comfortable, durable, and elegant textile that offers a natural drape, a refined feel, and a pleasant sensation against the skin—perfect for garments that are both stylish and practical.

For maximum durability, the fabric should be machine washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Liquid detergent is recommended; avoid soap or powder detergent. Fabric softener is not necessary as Tencel is already soft. Residue can damage the fabric's texture. Allow to air dry naturally without rubbing or wringing, and iron at a low temperature.
